Writing Center Hits the Conference Circuit

Members of Hofstra’s Writing Center took their staff and tutors on the road, presenting at the Northeast Writing Center Association (NEWCA) Conference at Western Connecticut State University. The theme of the March 30 and 31 event was “Voices of Engagement: The Roles Writing Centers Play in Making Writing Meaningful.” Earlier in March, the group participated in the Mid-Atlantic Writing Center Association (MAWCA) Conference hosted at Lafayette College in Easton, PA.
