A Computer Scientist Ventures Into the Art World

Graduate student Tyrone Harmon ’19, ’20 is exhibiting his photography in the next FORM Gallery exhibition, Exploración Artística, October 14-18.

Harmon,
who hails from Asbury Park, New Jersey, graduated from Hofstra this past May
with a dual major in Japanese language
and Computer Science. Last spring he was awarded an HCLAS Transformative
Learning Grant, which he applied toward a summer
study abroad opportunity in Costa Rica. He returned to campus this fall to earn
a master’s degree in computer science.
