Dance Ed Senior Awarded State Scholarship

Amber Richetelli ’20, a dance education major from Hamden, CT, was recently awarded the 2019 Undergraduate Student Scholarship from the New York State Dance Education Association. Richetelli was honored at the annual conference of the National Dance Education Organization in Miami, FL.

Professor Olivia Mode-Cater, Hofstra’s director
of dance education, called  Richetelli, “a gifted teacher who shows great promise for our
field.  I believe that the work she has
done so far in her undergraduate studies is exceptional and is deserving of
such recognition.”
