Grant Supports Research of Spain Before the Crusades

The Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sport [Ministerio de Cultura y Deporte] has awarded a grant of 1500 euros to Simon Doubleday, professor of history. The Ministry’s “Hispanex” program is supporting his research, “Christian Spain before the Crusades: Power and Pragmatism in Eleventh-Century Iberia.”
