Engineering Professor Publishes Paper

Assistant Professor of Engineering Salvador Rojas-Murillo’s paper on Selection of Key Visual Cues in Real and Virtual Environments for Assembly Tasks has been published in the November edition of the International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics.

The paper identifies
the key visual areas for both Virtual Environments (VEs) and in Real
Environments (REs) when performing an assembly task and illustrates the value of using VEs for
training purposes to reduce assembly time in both environments.
