Oct. 23: Day in the Pride

On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, Hofstra University will celebrate its fifth Day in the Pride to highlight the everyday and extraordinary things that happen during a single, 24-hour period in the Hofstra community.

Students, families, faculty/staff, and alumni are invited to participate and share moments of their day on social media (primarily Twitter and/or Instagram) using #DayInThePride. Whether grabbing a cup of coffee between classes or soaking up the local culture while studying abroad, we want to see it all. In previous years, members of the Hofstra community have captured their latest lab experiments, posted photos from meals with friends, and provided a sneak peek at their jobs and internships. People have also shared their favorite spots on campus and funny moments with their friends, and families – including pets – have sported their favorite Hofstra gear in support of their loved ones.

*REMINDER: Make sure your social media accounts are PUBLIC in order to participate.
