The Hofstra Chorale and Chamber Choir will perform their annual fall concert at the Cathedral of the Incarnation on Friday, November 22, at 7:30 p.m. This year’s program, titled “Peaceable Kingdom,” explores our fascination and relationship with the animal kingdom.

The concert opens with Randall Thompson’s towering a cappella masterpiece, also titled “Peaceable Kingdom,” and works range from simple yet profound interactions to more humorous vignettes. Also featured is the music of Britten, Lauridsen, Runestad, Thompson, Victoria, and Whitacre. Dr. Fryling and his students will be joined by Brianna Brickman, graduate assistant conductor, and Matthew Koraus, organist.

The Cathedral is located at 50 Cathedral Avenue in Garden City. Tickets are $10 general admission; $8 for adults 65+ or matriculated non-Hofstra students with ID. Members of the Hofstra community (current faculty, staff and students) receive two free tickets upon presentation of a current HofstraCard.

For tickets and information, please call 516-463-5497. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
