Hofstra is celebrating the 21st year of its annual Irish Experience Festival on Sunday, March 10, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Mack Physical Education Center, on the University’s North Campus.
The festival celebrates the Irish gifts of music, food and culture to America. There will be music performances throughout the day, as well activities for children, and beverages, food and crafts for sale.
The Tommy Mulvihill Band, returns to the Festival to perform from their repertoire of 2,000 rock and Irish tunes. Festival favorites, the Black Velvet Band and the Hibernian Singers, are also performing. Children’s entertainment includes clowns and magicians.
Admission is $6 and $5 for senior citizens (65 and older). Children under 12 are free. Members of the Hofstra community also receive one free admission upon presentation of a current HofstraCard.
