Hofstra’s Center for International Financial Services and Markets in the Frank G. Zarb School of Business will host an on-campus lecture with Brian Ruane, CEO of Government Securities Services (GSS) at BNY Mellon, on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.
Ruane is a prominent Zarb School alumnus. He leads management and operations of GSS and serves on the Frank G. Zarb School Dean’s Advisory Board. Ruane earned an MBA in international banking and finance from Hofstra University.
His lecture, a discussion of his white paper entitled, “BNY Mellon Thought Leadership Paper: A Discussion of Infrastructure Investing as an Asset Class,” will focus on the rise of Infrastructure becoming a mainstay in the alternative asset portfolio alongside more established asset classes like Private Equity.
The event is open to all members of the Hofstra community. There is no fee, but registration is required at hofstra.edu/rsvpruane. For more information, please email Dr. Nancy White at Nancy.A.White@hofstra.edu.
The event will be from 5:30-8 p.m. and be held in the Hofstra University Club, David S. Mack Hall, North Campus. Refreshments will be served.
