The Frank G. Zarb School of Business won kudos from Bloomberg Businessweek as part of its 2019 Best B-Schools of 2018 rankings. Out of 96 schools, the Zarb School was recognized by Bloomberg Businessweek in three areas: Learning (ranked 39), Networking (40), and Entrepreneurship (54).
The learning category reflects “whether the curriculum is applicable to real-world business situations [and] the degree of emphasis on innovation, problem-solving, and strategic thinking,” according to Bloomberg Businessweek.
Networking evaluated “the quality of networks being built by classmates; students’ interactions with alumni; the successes of the career-services office; the quality and breadth of alumni-to-alumni interactions,” as well as the school’s brand power from a recruiter’s perspective. For entrepreneurship, the magazine based its ranks on students’ increasing desire to learn the skills necessary to start a business and how each school responded to this demand.
