Hofstra’s Special Education Graduate Association (SEGA), in conjunction with national autism advocacy organization Autism Speaks, will host an on-campus event about the latest advances in autism research on Monday, November 5, 2018.
The Autism Research Series will feature a presentation by the organization’s Chief Science Officer, Dr. Thomas Frazier. There will also be a Q&A session, a resource fair and many opportunities for networking.
The event is open to all, including people with autism and their families, researchers, clinicians, educators, policy makers, and members of the local community. There is no fee, but registration is required at Act.AutismSpeaks.org/ResearchSeriesHofstra. For more information, email Outreach@AutismSpeaks.org.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and be held in the Multipurpose Room, Mack Student Center, North Campus. On campus parking is available.
