Hofstra’s Scott Skodnek Business Development Center will be offering a 10-week counseling program for budding entrepreneurs to learn skills such as creating a business plan, managing finances, and developing marketing strategies. Participants of the Entrepreneurial Assistance Program (EAP) will have the opportunity to compete in a Business Plan Competition sponsored by Capital One Bank with prizes up to $2,500.
The 60-hour program will be offered from October 1 – December 5, 2018 on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 9 pm for a fee of $495. Limited scholarships for veterans and Nassau Community College alumni are available. An Entrepreneurship Certificate is earned upon completion of the program requirements.
