Puppies, massages, and food! Hofstra Stress Busters are back to support students throughout finals week with some old favorites and a few new additions.
The finals week tradition will start on Monday, May 7 at 11 a.m. in the Student Center Outdoor Plaza with a free Slurpee truck. Other popular activities include dog therapy, which will be from 12-3 p.m. in the Student Center Greenhouse, followed by a comedy show at 7 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room West. Late Night Breakfast – a fan favorite – will also take place on May 14 at 10 p.m. in the Student Center Main Dining Room. Stress Busters will go all the way through Friday, May 18, ending with Slow Flow Yoga at 5:30 p.m. in the Fitness Center.
Organized by the Office of Student Advocacy and Prevention Awareness, in collaboration with the Student Government Association, Hofstra Dining, the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement, Campus Recreation, Student Health and Counseling Services, and the Office of Commuting Student Services and Community Outreach, Stress Busters consist of two weeks of events to help keep students sharp and relaxed.
