What’s Open and Closed During Winter Break?

Hofstra University will be closed December 22, 2017 through January 1, 2018 for winter break. The university will re-open on January 2 for January Session, and the spring 2018 semester will begin on January 29, 2018.

Below are the hours of operation for various campus facilities during the holiday and winter break. We wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year and look forward to welcoming our students, faculty and staff back upon their return to campus.

Residence halls will be open. But, if your travel plans have changed since you filled out your “general intentions form” for the holiday break, please notify your Residence Director of any updates.
