Morgan Rosenblum ’08, the award-winning author of the best-selling graphic novel series Treadwater, and business partner Nat Prinzi will be on campus for an evening of conversation and Q&A on Thursday, Oct. 13, 6:30-9 PM, Lawrence Herbert School of Communication, Studio B.
Rosenblum is the founder, CEO, and executive creative director of Darkrose Studios, an indie publishing company and creative incubator. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business, and after a successful career in sales, he changed direction to pursue his creative passion. Since then, he has grown his graphic novel into a full-fledged transmedia franchise which includes a video game, interactive website, and an augmented reality app.
Prinzi is co-founder and president of Darkrose Studios, and co-creator of the Treadwater series. He is responsible for all of its various creative platforms. He is also the founder of Betterdays Media, a full-service production company and digital content studio that works with some of the world’s largest brands, agencies, and artists.
The event is part of the Herbert Insiders speaker series, which was established in 2014 and brings distinguished graduates and guests back to campus to meet with students interested in communication careers.
