Register for Jan. Session Starting Oct. 9

Registration for January Session, which runs January 3-20, 2017, opens this Sunday, October 9. This is a unique opportunity for students to earn three credits as well as fulfill course requirements in just two or three weeks. Courses meet for two weeks, January 3-13, or three weeks, January 3-20.

Students choose from a variety of undergraduate and graduate distance learning (online) courses, including distribution classes, and are able to earn part of their degree or certificate online in the hours and locations most conducive for them.

Study Abroad

Students can earn college credits and satisfy their major, minor or distribution requirements all while studying in a different country. Study Abroad programs during the 2017 January Session include Hofstra in Venice, Hofstra in Athens, Hofstra in London, and Hofstra in Cuba.

Residence and dining halls are open during January Session, and on-campus job opportunities are available.
