Kara Alaimo, PhD,  assistant professor of public relations in the Lawrence Herbert School of Communication, writes about the challenges of communicating professionally in different cultures in her new book, Pitch, Tweet or Engage on the Street: How to Practice Global Public Relations and Strategic Communication (Routledge).  She spoke with India’s Economic Times about five questions to ask before doing business in a new global market.
