Julia Markus Discusses Lady Byron Bio with Leonard Lopate

English Professor Julia Markus discussed her new biography, Lady Byron and Her Daughters, on the highly regarded Leonard Lopate Show on WNYC radio yesterday, December 2. She’s currently en route to Oxford University in England where she will present a paper at at the international Ada Lovelace Symposium on December 10. Ada Lovelace, considered a pioneer of computer programming, was the daughter of Lord and Lady Byron, and this year is the bicentenary of her birth.

Professor Markus is a core faculty members in the MFA program in Creative Writing.
