Freshman Jesse Chen of Ningbo, China was a winner in the 1st Annual Study New York International Student Photography Contest for a picture he took overlooking campus from the top-floor lounge of one of the tower residence halls.
Chen was one of four winners honored at the Study New York Consular Reception at Baruch College. The photo contest, Why I love studying in New York, was open to international students studying in New York state. Categories included: Campus Photography, Social/Cultural Sharing, Academic Related and Selfie Photography. Chen won in the Campus Photo category. His award was presented by Dean of International Recruitment for Enrollment Management Stav Boutsis. Also in attendance to support Chen was International Admission Counselor and Assistant Dean of Admission Alexander Polk.
