November 12-15 are the final days to see Samuel Beckett’s Endgame, performed by the Department of Drama and Dance at the Black Box Theater, New Academic Building, South Campus. Directed by Christopher Dippel, the cast features students Justin Valentino, Jack Saleeby, Justin Chevalier and Amanda Price.
Examining the belief that “nothing is funnier than unhappiness,” Endgame, considered by many critics to be Beckett’s greatest single work, is an Absurdist comedy about tragedy – four lost souls bound together by habit and habitation face the end of the world with great longing and great regret.
Remaining show times are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, November 12-14, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 15, at 2 p.m..
