The Hofstra Career Center will sponsor its annual Fall Career Fair on Wednesday, October 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the David S. Mack Sports & Exhibition Complex, North Campus.
The fair will be the largest ever held in the fall semester, with recruiters from more than 100 organizations looking to fill full-time, part-time, and internship positions in a wide range of career fields. The fair is open to all majors and class years; all attendees should be professionally dressed and have plenty of resumes.
Students can also attend the Career Center’s Quick Question Hours (10-11 a.m. and 2-4 p.m. daily) in the days before the fair for a resume review or for tips on how to make the most of fair participation.
The Hofstra Career Center hosts ongoing career fairs, on-campus interviews, and employer events throughout the year. Hofstra University’s latest alumni career outcomes show that 96 percent of the undergraduate Class of 2013-14 report being employed or pursuing graduate studies. Of those who got jobs, 43 percent accepted their positions before graduation.
