Students Navigate Emotional Territory in “How I Learned to Drive”

The Department of Drama and Dance presents Paula Vogel’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play How I Learned to Drive, through October 11, 2015, at the Black Box Theater, New Academic Building, South Campus.

In scenes weaving backwards and forwards in time, L’il Bit (Natasha Cole) reflects on the complex relationship with her Uncle Peck (Bryan Raiton) —the man who taught her to drive.  Sometimes uncomfortable, sometimes funny, but crafted with sensitivity, How I Learned to Drive, by Paula Vogel, won the Pulizer Prize for Drama, in 1998.  Sexual themes. For mature audiences only.
