The Hofstra University Counseling and Mental Health Professions Clinic at the Joan and Arnold Saltzman Community Services Center is now presenting or forming group sessions for Spring 2015.

The fee to participate is $15 per individual, couple, or family. For registration information call 516-463-5234

Monday:
Effective Parenting and Discipline in Spanish: 6:30-8 p.m.
This weekly psycho-educational group for parents focuses on developing positive parenting strategies and effective discipline skills.

Teen Talk: 7-8:30 p.m.
A weekly psycho-educational support group for teens facing a variety of development issues.

Tuesday:
Children of Divorce: 7-8:30 p.m.
A weekly psycho-educational support group for children of divorce helps kids understand and cope with divorce or separation.

Adult Divorce Support: 7-8:30 p.m.
A weekly psycho-educational support group for adults that addresses the emotional impact of the separation and divorce process.

Tuesday/Wednesday:
Care for Caregivers: 7-8:30 p.m.
A weekly psycho-educational support group for individuals who are in the role of caregiver for a loved one.

Thursday:
Effective Parenting and Discipline in English: 6-7:30 p.m.
This weekly psycho-educational group for parents focuses on developing positive parenting strategies and effective discipline skills.

Saturday:
Children’s Socialization: 1-2:15 p.m.
This weekly psycho-educational group focuses on building self-esteem, confidence and increasing attention skills in children.
