Find out more about the 2015 $100,000 Hofstra-CPXi Venture Tech Challenge and connect with other budding tech entrepreneurs at a networking mixer and information session Thursday, January 29, at 6 p.m. in the 10th floor of Axinn Library, South Campus
All Hofstra University undergraduate students are eligible to enter the contest, in which student teams take an innovative idea from concept to business plan, and in the process compete for $100,000 in prize money. Dinner will be provided at the mixer. Email Colin.P.Sullivan [at]hofstra.edu to RSVP.
The contest will culminate in a public presentation of final concepts and business plans to a select panel of judges on April 29, 2015. The judging committee consists of Hofstra University faculty and administrators, CPXi officials, and other industry leaders.
The Hofstra-CPXi Venture Tech Challenge is sponsored by alumnus and Hofstra Board of Trustee member Mike Seiman, the chief executive officer of CPXi, a digital media company he started while still a Hofstra student.
