Hofstra University’s online MBA program is among the Top 50 in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report, ranking higher than any other such program in the New York City metropolitan area.
The online MBA, offered by the Frank G. Zarb School of Business, is ranked 41st . Only three online MBA program in the state, including Hofstra’s, made the Top 50. Launched in 2011, Hofstra’s online MBA offers two concentrations: strategic business management and strategic health care management.
Meanwhile, the School of Education’s online graduate education program, an MSEd in Higher Education Policy and Leadership, ranked 94th, according to the 2015 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs.Besides the higher education degree, the School of Education launched a new, fully online MSEd in Special Education: International Perspectives in Fall 2014.
U.S. News & World Report’s online program rankings, released today, evaluated programs based on a number of factors, including selectivity, graduation rates, accreditation, opportunities for interaction with faculty and classmates, faculty credentials and training, and student services and technology.
Hofstra University began offering online classes in 2010, and now offers four fully-online graduate degree programs, and three advanced certificate programs. It also offers hybrid graduate degree and certificate programs.
