Hofstra University’s FORM Student Gallery in Calkins Hall, South Campus, presents The 3rd Dimension; Design and Sculpture by Dan Goldberg. A senior from Rockville Centre, NY, Goldberg is a fine arts major with a concentration in industrial design and sculpture and a minor in psychology.
“I have always been interested in how things are created,” Goldberg says. While at Hofstra, Goldberg has learned how to channel his talents to create lifelike art and designs that have a functional purpose. Featuring art inspired by Goldberg’s time studying abroad in Italy and also by iconic television and film characters, The 3rd Dimension includes works of ceramic clay, plaster, wood, metal and canvas. After graduation, Goldberg plans to attend graduate school to study automotive design and sculpture.
The 3rd Dimension, on display now, will have a closing ceremony on Friday, December 12, at 6 p.m.
