FORM Gallery Presents a Dystopian “New Age,” Through Dec. 7

Post-apocalyptic themes and pop culture images are present in The New Age, an exhibition featuring works by five senior Fine Arts majors: Bethany Dill, Harrison Jakobs, Rebecca Kollmer, Alex Majerski, and Denis Naymark. The New Age is the latest show to be presented in the FORM Student Gallery in Calkins Hall.

Through graphic illustrations and ceramic sculptures, the artists show viewers a bleak glimpse of the future – what our world would be like “if Nature turned radioactive.”  This show merges the students’ works, mediums and styles.

The New Age is on display through December 7.

The FORM Gallery is located on the first floor of Calkins Hall, South Campus. Admission is free and open to the public.  For more information call the Department of Fine Arts, Design, Art History at 516-463-5474.
