Hofstra ranks among the top graduate schools in the nation in four disciplines – education administration, counselor education, health care administration, and physician assistant studies – according to a survey of current or recent graduate students on the website graduateprograms.com.
Three programs are within the School of Health Sciences and Human Services, while one (educational leadership) is based in the School of Education:
- The Master of Science in Education (MSEd) program in Counseling ranked 11th.
- The MSEd in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies ranked 12th.
- The Master of Science (MS) in Physician Assistant Studies ranked 20th.
- The Master of Health Administration (MHA) ranked 22nd.
The fall 2014 rankings were determined by students’ assessment of graduate programs in 15 categories, including academic competitiveness, career support, accessibility to faculty, quality of network, financial aid, and use of technology. The rankings reflect ratings from students attending graduate programs at more than 1,500 schools nationwide.
