Hofstra University’s January session is a great way to catch up on distribution requirements, check out an online class or spend a few weeks exploring museums, galleries, financial institutions and historical landmarks in New York City. Hofstra and visiting students can earn up to four credits in just three weeks. January Session 2015 runs from Jan. 5-23.
For new students who will be taking classes for the first time at Hofstra in the spring semester, a January class is a great way to ease into college life. For continuing students, especially those who don’t live near campus, January distance learning class can keep you on pace with your distribution classes. Students also can study abroad in Venice, Athens and London during the January intercession.
During January session, residence halls are open, student employment positions are available and the University is in full operation.
