The Frank G. Zarb School of Business is among the top 10 in the nation for undergraduate business majors based on the mid-career salary of its graduates, according to the 2014-15 Payscale.com College Salary Report.
Hofstra ranks tenth on Payscale.com’s Best Schools by Salary Potential for Business Majors, ahead of Cornell, New York, George Washington, Syracuse, Pace and Rutgers universities. It is the only university in New York state to make the top 10.
Mid-career salary for Zarb School undergraduate business alumni is $116,500, according to the report.
For members of the Zarb School’s Class of 2012-13 who graduated with a bachelor’s degree, 96 percent reported being employed or in graduate school, according to the latest career outcome report. More than half of those who reported being employed accepted their jobs before graduation.
