Delta Pi, a student organization of the Department of Accounting, Taxation and Legal Studies in the Frank G. Zarb School of Business, has won top honors for scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field.
The Zarb group is among only 15 student chapters nationwide to win the 2014 KPMG Gold Challenge Competition at last week’s annual meeting of Beta Alpha Psi, an international honor organization for students and professionals in the financial information industry.
The award winners represent the top five percent of more than 300 Beta Alpha Psi college and university chapters nationwide. Delta Pi members earned the honor based in part on the quality of its programming and activities.
