Hofstra Symphony Orchestra Presents Dept’s Last Spring Concert

The Hofstra Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Adam Glaser, will perform the final Department of Music concert of the academic year tomorrow, May 10, at 8 p.m. Selections include the Overture to Zampa by Ferdinand Herold; Chorale Prelude: Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme by J.S.Bach (arr. Ormandy); L’Arlesienne Suite No. 2 by Georges Bizet; and Symphony No. 5 (“Reformation”), Op. 107 by Felix Mendelssohn.

The concert takes place at the John Cranford Adams Playhouse, South Campus. Tickets are $10 general admission; $8 senior citizen (over 65) or matriculated non-Hofstra student with ID. Members of the Hofstra community receive up to two free tickets upon presentation of a current HofstraCard
