Emily Miethner ’10, founder and president of FindSpark.com, has lined up an impressive Hofstra alumni and other arts, communications and business leaders for the Saturday, November 9, conference “Find & Follow Your Passion.”
Hofstra grads joining Miethner in this endeavor include John Santucci ’11 of Good Morning America; Nicole Samartino ’09 of Saturday Night Live; Brittany Forgione ’08 of SELF Magazine; and Hofstra 2013 Alumni Achievement Award recipient Celia Berk ‘79, Chief Talent Officer at Young & Rubicam.
The conference, geared toward creative college students and young professionals, features a full day of discussions, workshops, networking, and fun – all aimed to get participants closer to the job of their dreams. Attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with creatives from fields ranging from photography and social media to entrepreneurship and fashion from leading New York City companies including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Zynga, Seventeen Magazine, MSNBC, Tumblr, Kickstarter, CollegeHumor, and dozens more.
