Grant Enhances Education of Students with Disabilities

Hofstra University’s Student Access Services (SAS) Office has received a $25,000 grant from the Whelan Foundation to offset the enrollments costs for students in the Program for Academic Learning Skills (PALS). Specifically, five students in the program will receive need-based support so they can pursue their academic goals at Hofstra. The Whelan Foundation began its support of Hofstra’s PALS in 2013 and has awarded grants to the program every year since.
