Med School Raises $12K+ for Pediatric Cancer Research
Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine students and staff shaved their ‘dos for dollars in support of pediatric cancer research as part of the St. Baldrick’s Day annual charity fundraiser. Celebrating their fifth year of participation, the School of Medicine team raised over $12,000 (and still counting) for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation during a “pre-shave” event on March 8, 2017. The medical school event is part of Hofstra University’s official campus-wide snip and shear, which is scheduled to take place on April 12.
