Latest Honor Makes Hofstra Program Highest Ranked in NY Metro Area

Hofstra’s online MBA program is the 36th best program of its kind in the nation, according to the 2017 U.S. News & World Report rankings of online degree programs, released today.

This is the latest ranking recognizing Hofstra’s online MBA program; Princeton Review’s 2017 list of the Top 25 online MBA programs rated Hofstra 15th in the nation for the second straight year. Hofstra is the highest ranked online MBA program in the New York metropolitan area.

“This kind of sustained national recognition from multiple sources is a validation of our work to build a program that is flexible, rigorous and provides students with the tools and experience they need to advance their careers,” said Dr. Kaushik Segupta, PhD, associate dean of business graduate education and director of the online MBA program.

Launched in 2011, Hofstra’s online MBA offers two concentrations: strategic business management and strategic health care management.

The majority of the 48-credit program is taught online. Students also participate in two, four-day campus residencies, as well as a weeklong global practicum designed to provide a multinational, cross-cultural experience. Previous cohorts have traveled to China, Japan and South Africa for their global practicum.
