Hofstra Symphony Makes a French Connection

The Department of Music presents the Hofstra Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Adam Glaser, on Saturday, December 10, at 8 p.m. The concert theme is “The French Connection,” and selections include the “Marche Héroïque, Op. 34” by Camille Saint-Saëns; “Pavane pour une infante défunte” by Maurice Ravel; “Petite Suite” by Claude Debussy; and “Symphony in D Minor, Op. 48” by César Franck.

The performance takes place at the Toni and Martin Sosnoff Theater at the John Cranford Adams Playhouse, South Campus. Tickets are $10 general admission; $8 senior citizen (over 65) or matriculated non-Hofstra student with ID. Members of the Hofstra community receive up to two free tickets upon presentation of a current HofstraCard

For tickets and information, please contact the Box Office at 516-463-6644, Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. Tickets will also be sold online and at the door, starting 90 minutes prior to show time.
