Standout Student: Christian Ladigoski

Christian Ladigoski ’16 is a senior majoring in electrical engineering. He was drawn to Hofstra because of the University’s diverse program and extracurricular options as well as its School of Engineering and Applied Science. He was able to study engineering while also getting heavily involved in the school’s award-winning student-run radio station, WRHU, as the station engineer. He attributes his experience at WRHU with helping him land his internships at NBC Universal and ABC, where he was part of broadcast operations and engineering facilities, and worked on the Today Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and even the Oscars. Christian also took advantage of the many leadership opportunities on campus. He became a Pride Guide, leading tours of prospective students around campus, a Welcome Week leader for new students, and president of IEEE, the pre-professional electrical engineers society on campus. After graduation, Christian hopes to land an engineering position in the entertainment or media industry.
