Hofstra went 24-10 in 2015-16, winning the regular season Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) title and advancing to the National Invitation Tournament. It marked the most wins for the program since the 2005-06 season and the regular season conference title was the program’s first since joining the CAA in 2001. In addition, the NIT appearance was the program’s first since 2007. With 24 wins last season and 20 in 2014-15, it marked Hofstra’s first back-to-back 20-win campaigns since the 2005-06 (26) and 2006-07 (22) seasons.

The Hofstra Women’s Basketball team recorded their second consecutive 20-win season and their sixth-ever bid to the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) in 2015-16. The Pride made the WNIT in consecutive seasons for just the second time in program history after appearances in 2006 and 2007. Hofstra, which posted a 25-9 overall mark including a 13-5 CAA record during the regular season, earned the number three seed in the CAA Championship Tournament for the second consecutive year. The third-place seed matched the best-ever finish during the CAA regular season.

Following the conclusion of the show a traditional press release outlining the non-conference schedules for both teams will be posted on GoHofstra.com.
