tammy hensrud 2

Soprano Tammy Hensrud, Associate Adjunct Professor of Voice in the Department of Music, plays the role of “The Mother” in the Astoria Symphony Orchestra’s production of  Gian Carlo Menotti’s “Amahl and the Night Visitors,” this Sunday, December 7, at 5 p.m. While Professor Hensrud has sung this part in previous productions, this performance is particularly special because she is co-starring with her young son, Rainer DeLalio, who is singing the part of “Amahl.”

“Amahl and the Night Visitors” is taking place at Long Island City High School. For more information visit www.astoriamusic.org.
