On January 5, 55 Hofstra students and three professors left New Your to spend a magical three weeks in Venice. This popular study abroad program runs each January and gives students an opportunity to learn about the Italian culture, make new friendships, travel and earn three credits. The Hofstra in Venice program, directed by Prof. Maria Fixell, is offered by Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Department of Romance Languages and Literature. This year four classes are being offered: Art History, Comparative Literature, Italian 2 and International Business/Marketing.
