What’s Open/Closed – January Intercession

Hofstra University January intercession begins Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014. Operating hours of many university services may change during this period. Below are intercession schedules for most university services. The regular spring semester, along with normal operating hours for most university services, begins Monday, January 27, 2014.

Night Shuttle:

There will be no change in service during January intercession.

Dining Services:

A full list of dining hours and locations during January intercession is available from Student Affairs Dining Services.

Residential Programs:

Resident Assistants will be on-duty. In the case of an emergency please contact Public Safety’s emergency line at 516-463-6789.

Health and Wellness Center:

For hours of operation please check the Health and Wellness Center website.

Student Counseling Services:

From Thursday January 2, 2014 through Friday January 24, 2014, the office will be open from Mon–Fri 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Starting Monday, January 27, regular hours will resume, Mon–Fri 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Fitness Center:

It will reopen on January 2, 2014 with special intercession hours through January 26, 2014.  For a listing of Winter Break Hours please check the Fitness Center website. Regular Fitness Center hours will resume Monday, January 27, 2014.

Axinn Library

It will open normal operating hours beginning January 2, 2014.
