FORM Student Gallery Presents “Drawing Out Loud” Works by Kat Deiner ’15

Hofstra University’s FORM Student Gallery in Calkins Hall, South Campus, presents an exhibition of mixed media works titled Drawing Out Loud by Kathleen Deiner ’15. Deiner has a dual major in Art History and Fine Arts major, with a concentration in painting. Drawing Out Loud opens tonight, November 11, at 6 p.m. and runs through Friday, November 15.

Deiner, who says her inspirations are “Edgar Degas, Jeff Koons, my Dad for giving me daily inspirational quotes,” hopes to attend graduate school in the New York City area. “Ultimately, I aim to receive a PhD in Fine Arts and Art History, while continuing to create art that I am passionate about.”

Admission to Drawing Out Loud is free and open to the public. Viewing hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. For more information call the Department of Fine Arts Design and Art History at 516-463-5474.
