Hofstra University’s Wilbur F. Breslin Center for Real Estate Studies is pleased to present an expert panel discussion of Policy, Power, & Politics: Meeting Long Island’s Future Energy Needs.
Organized by The Institute of Real Estate at Hofstra, the co-sponsored event will bring together local authorities in technology, utilities, research and policy to discuss ways to manage the increasing power demands and deficits on Long Island, including methods to identify and employ renewable energy sources.
Leading the talk will be moderator Gary Lewi, Senior Executive Vice President of Rubenstein Associates, Inc. Panelists include: Robert Catell, Chairman, Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center at Stony Brook University; Matthew Cordaro, former utility CEO and current Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) trustee; David Daly, Vice President, LIPA Transition, PSEG; and Edmund J. McMahon, Senior Fellow, Manhattan Institute for State and Local Leadership, and President of the Empire Center for New York State Policy.
