Sights and Sounds From First Men’s Basketball Practice
The Hofstra Men’s Basketball team held its first official practice (photo gallery) on Monday, September 30 in preparation for the upcoming 2013-14 campaign. Men’s Soccer Runs Win Streak To Four
Behind the stellar play of keepr Patric Pray, Hofstra won both its games this week with a 3-0 victory at Rutgersand a 2-0 win over UNCW in their CAA opener. Pray was the Big Apple Soccer Player of the Weekfollowing his shutout over New Hampshire last weekend.


Volleyball Picks Up Two Road Wins In CAA Play
The Pride improved to 3-1 in conference play with a pair of wins at Towson and Delaware. Hofstra rallied for a 3-2 win at Towson before sweeping Delaware. Kelsie Wills had 36 kills, 20 digs and five blocks over the two matches.

Women’s Basketball Starts Practice
The Hofstra Women’s Basketball team took its first step towards gearing up for the 2013-14 season as the Pride conducted its first official practice on Monday at the Mack Sports Complex. Hofstra Basketball Media Day is right around the corner too!

Hofstra Lacrosse Takes Part In Firefighter Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Run/Walk 
The Hofstra Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse programs helped to raise funds for the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation as they took part in the annual run on September 29.
