Katie Nolan, a 2009 alumna of The Lawrence Herbert School of Communication at Hofstra University, stars with Regis Philbin on “Crowd Goes Wild,” a live sports entertainment talk show on the newly launched national sports cable channel Fox Sports 1.

“Crowd Goes Wild” airs weekdays at 5 pm ET.Crowd Goes Wild

The show features Philbin heading a panel of sports professionals, celebrity guests and fans discussing the latest sports news and events.  Nolan, who is known for her videos on YouTube, will serve as the show’s social media correspondent.

Also on the panel are Wall Street Journal sports columnist Jason Gay, tennis pro-turned-comedian Michael Kosta, two-time Super Bowl Champion Trevor Pryce, and and Sky Sports host and news anchor Georgie Thompson.

“If you told me a year ago I was going to be on live television with Regis Philbin I would’ve laughed at you. I still can’t believe it,” said Nolan, who majored in public relations.  “This cast is so talented, and as different as we are, we have so much fun together. I think that’s what will make the show so fun to watch. We don’t take ourselves too seriously.”
